In this project I was experimenting with ways on how to change an image but keep the images feeling the same for me. 

To give context It’s been 3 years since I’ve put on the hijab, best decision I’ve made for myself. But im not able to share pictures of myself without it, missing out on sharing important memories to me with others. 

This series with over 40 photographs from my personal collection is a way for me to preserve these memories feelings, share with others, and not impede on my religious practice.
